We had the first request for a gold-colored Prezz bass some ten years ago, and it is in heavy rotation down in Hamburg ever since. Then we got a request for a „Jazz bass in Les-Paul-gold with two P-bass pickups and heavy worn look“ so we made it. Before we delivered, I recorded a quick YouTube video and received a couple phone calls: „I want this!“

So we keep making them. This one has a Prezz body. It´s got all the features requested, a roasted maple neck with pearl block Inlays and bindings, custom-wound Gerold pickups, and tasteful relicing to make it look like it´s been on the road for 50 years. And it sounds great, as you can hear in the video. Strung with flatwounds, of course. Works great with roundwounds as well.
